The Anywhere HIIT Body Weight Workout

Hey! I hope you all had a great weekend! Mike and I realized last night that it’s been 5 years since we moved into our condo together! And we thought we would only live here for 2 years and flip it. I also swore we wouldn’t have kids until we moved to a place with a little more space. Funny how things turn out, and how you make things work! It’s also crazy how time flies.

What did you think of the Oscars? Favorite dresses? Moments? I personally loved Cirque Du Soleil! I was also glad to see Meryl win–she deserved it. I was rooting for Viola a little but Meryl is amazing. The red carpet is always my favorite part though. What was up with Borat and Ryan Seacrest? Was it a set-up or did he legit get kicked out?

I have a lot going on around here. One being a teething baby that won’t sleep! The other– a few business projects I am working on!

With that said I thought I would give you all a 16 minute pin-able HIIT workout to try! This can be done ANYWHERE— at home, in the gym, in your hotel room. You need nothing but your body and a jump rope (if you don’t have a jump rope you can faux jump rope!).

As always, I use my GYMBOSS interval timer for these workouts.

Let me know if you try it out! Make sure to ALWAYS warm up and cool down and stretch thoroughly! Always check with your physician before trying any new workout program!

Enjoy! This is personally one of my favorite equipment-less workouts!!!

So, I didn’t watch the Oscars. I knew it was on, and Joe was watching some awful true murder story on Lifetime (he’s a private investigator so he loves true crime mysteries—-I like hearing his work stories, but I hate those movies!).
I spent the day at a coffee date with a friend, visiting my grandparents, and then visiting joe’s sister and her four kids….so at night I was a slug in bed at 9pm.
I hope your new project involves a virtual boot camp so I can participate! 🙂

I didn’t watch much of the Oscars, but I did see part of the Cirque Du Soleil performance and it was amazing!! I was too busy playing with my 5 month old nephews. He’s a big distraction! 🙂

I love some HIIT workouts. Love that you can do this workout anywhere! I need lots of at home workouts for after I have the baby and won’t be able to get to the gym as easily

I did this HIIT workout this morning and it was great! I am definitely going to be putting it into my daily morning routine rotation. 🙂 thanks! I have one question though would you do anything else along with this workout or is this 16 minutes of intensity good for the day?

As long as you push hard this is all you need! Of course do a lot of stretching too! If you like, and are still feeling strong you can definitely add some more core work in the end! I do sometimes if I have the time. Pick like 3-5 exercises and do them HIIT style for 1-2 rounds!

I didn’t catch the oscars, I don’t really watch many award shows. I did catch clips on E! though because I LOVE looking at the dresses that the ladies wear. I personally thought J.Lo looked fab!
