Random Wednesday

Thanks for all the comments yesterday about my family’s reality show. It was pretty funny to watch. Hopefully it gets put online SOON so I can share it with you all 🙁

I am OOBER busy this week. So this is going to be quick…..

First off I want to say

this was at her 21st b-day last year, before she was a reality TV star 😉

Tonight is also the first night of Hanukkah, so I dusted off our Menorah:

I like to keep the tradition going for my husband, even if he doesn’t act like it’s that important to him.

He actually jokes every year that I need to get him 8 gifts for each night of Hanukkah. I did it the first year we lived together

…but he’s HARD enough to shop for when we exchange forget it, buddy.

Yesterday between my Am and PM clients I ran around to get a few things that I needed for the wedding weekend:

I actually had to work late last night, so Michael brought me home a salad from Chestnut Hill Grill:

Southwestern Salad, no chicken there are black beans, avocado, corn and lots of greens in a cilantro lime vinaigrette.

For dessert I finished off this stuff:

I have to get over to the gym for a workout…then some straightening up to do around the house on this very miserable rainy day 🙁

I have the YUMMIEST Thirsty Thursday drink for tomorrow….stay tuned 🙂

Talk to you all soon!

Enjoy your Wednesday!

I hear ya on the rain girl – it’s so dark and dull here too! Good luck with getting through your list of to-do’s today. And happy birthday to your sister! 🙂

My boyfriend is Jewish, so it’s been fun celebrating his holiday all of these years with his family. 🙂 The first year we started dating I got him a gift for each night of Hannukah, also! It was so cheesy how I did it but now we just do one gift each. I’m excited for Hannukah dinners these next 8 days. It’s so fun celebrating someone else’s holiday that I didn’t grow up celebrating. To see his families traditions and the prayers (some in Hebrew) are pretty cool. 🙂

Hope your sister has a good birthday, looking forward to seeing the show. Smash box make up products are great aren’t they. Hope it’s not too rainy, it’s still snowing here, it’s like an ice rink out again but luckily I’m off work so I don’t have to go too far.

Why are guys SO hard to shop for??? Peter’s bday is in exactly 2 weeks and I have no clue what to do for him. He claims he wants me to do nothing because he doesn’t have anything he wants/needs and therefore we shouldn’t “waste the money”. But he got me a flippin netbook and DSLR for gifts this year. I feel I have to do SOMETHING but not a clue. LOL

Ok I had to say I have that same dress you’re wearing! I like how you put the black stockings with it.

I have my boyfriends b-day a week before Christmas, and no clue either. Guys can be tough.

Have fun at the least it’s a rainy day. Those always seem to make the gym a little more enjoyable. 🙂

Thats too funny about your sister being on MTV and all—when are you gonna be on?? 🙂

I am NOT going to be on. Reality TV is not for me…I’d rather become famous through blogging, LOL 😉

Aww, Happy B-day to your sis!

I love Hanukkah…and I’m not even Jewish. But my first boyfriend was, and I grew up around a lot of my grandpa’s business associates, who were very often Jewish jewelry brokers, and one of my favorite speakers/spiritual leaders is a rabbi (Rabbi Shmuley). So this may sound weird, but I loves me some Jews!

Isn’t that Coconut Milk stuff AWESOME? I get some of the flavors for my dad because some of them are agave-sweetened and he’s a Type 1 diabetic. But I think I like Coconut Bliss a teeeensy bit better. Probably because it’s fattier, lol.
