Pretty Coconut & Freebies

Good Evening, Friends.

So we finally have internet again. I swear, almost a day without it and you feel like you’re living in the dark ages.

I ended up having to re-install my wireless router. No thanks to Comcast…I figured it out on m own after being on the phone with them for almost an hour. It wasn’t a problem on their end, but they are so nice there and so helpful, even though he couldn’t pin point the problem. Only tell me that it was probably my router. With the option of having some paid support to figure that out. No thank you.

Today I wanted to share with you my favorite non-edible way to use one of my favorite, healthy cooking oils

Β Anyone that know me knows I LOVE makeup.

L-O-V-E it.

At my wedding…I practically took the brush from my dear friend and talented makeup artist, Marisa to add more and more. Most brides are worried about “too much” I was more like…it’s not enough!

well, not practically….I did take the brush from her πŸ˜‰

I like DRAMA

Which is why I need some muscle to get it off at night. I don’t think there’s been a night that I have slept in my makeup in say, 15 years? True story.

I immediately want to stick my tongue into a fresh jar of coconut oil. Make some raw pie, or saute some veggies. I like to get the most for my money. Even though these guys introduced me to a brand that I love and save A LOT on.

At the end of the day…getting off that liquid liner can be a b*tch.

Β This stuff is better than ANY store-bought eye makeup remover. Gentler. All natural. And you should have it in stock.

Takes the Bare Escentuals right off..

fat in the eye.

DO you have some in stock?

DO you want more???

I can hook it up…

I’ll even throw in some extras…

HLS Swag

I have never tried coconut oil and would love to, what a great use for it as my skins very sensitive. I have been using baby wipes but even those make me breakout sometimes and I have to rub alot to get my eyeliner off!

I bought coconut oil a while back, but I don’t think I’ve ever used it! Sad, eh? Can you replace olive oil with coconut oil in any recipe? Or are certain recipes better? I would have never thought to use it to remove makeup!

I love coconut oil, but had no idea it would work as a makeup remover. I’m so going to be all over that!

I use an eye makeup remover from The Body Shop (it’s chamomile, I think), though I also have a jar of coconut oil but feel weirded out at the idea putting that near my eye. Well, at least there’s a backup for me!

I haven’t had the pleasure of using coconut oil yet, but I WANT to!

I plan on using it to make this fabulous gluten free chocolate cream pie. I would give you a slice (bribe alert) but you’d have to come to Charleston (bribe alert denied).
