One Word…

 

This past weekend wiped me out.

Monday has been a ROUGH day for me. I worked this morning. Had a pretty decent workout at the gym considering (30 minutes cardio, legs and a little back). Then got a few things from the store then came home and did this after a green smoothie and some raisin toast:

 

I am taking the advice of others and enjoying my sleep now while I can. I felt slightly guilty napping in the middle of the day. Then I said, screw it. I am tired. And I had to work until 7:30 tonight. It helped get me through that….otherwise I would NOT have been able to get through the night! besides, sleeping at night has been getting tougher and tougher with all this kicking and weird stomach fake contraction things.

 

Michael got nasty Chinese Food for dinner (I hate). And since I was working late and only got enough for green smoothies for the next 3 days and my oatmeal and some lunch stuff….I was stuck having a PB&J for dinner. That and some leftover roasted veggies in the fridge. I found this at Whole Foods today which made it better,  I am in love.

 

My peanut butter is really happy with his new sexy date I got for him:

 

SO good! Where have you been all our lives, gorgeous?

 

Thanks for the vote on the Blue Dress vs. the Pink Dress for my shower.

I love the material and the length of the blue dress, as well as the print. But I love the color of the pink dress better. If only I could morph the two?

I have a TON of emails to get back to, anyone that is waiting for a response I will get to you as soon as I can!

 

For now, I am off to shower and get in bed for some relax and reading time.

 

Work in the AM then gym, a doctors appointment then my Uncle is coming over to measure the doorway of my den for some french doors. Talk to you all ASAP!

    Don’t feel guilty about napping!! You totally deserve it after such a long day! I love love jam, especially raspberry. So good! I hope you feel much more rested tomorrow. Have a good night!

    ok so i’m not preggers and take mid-day naps…hello laziness on my part, no excuse except for the fact that I love naps!!!! You need to sleep….I can’t believe you are working like a maniac this late in your pregnancy!!!!! W always gets chinese…ugh-so annoying, tell that boy to make you something yummy!

    I am a huge fan of naps. I don’t really have a good reason to nap – no baby keeping me up all night although I think I get a little credit for watching kids all day. I wake up super early, usually before 5, get a ton of things done in the morning, take an early afternoon nap and then don’t get anything else done for the whole day…

    Okay, that’s not true, but sometimes even though I realllllly enjoy my naps I feel like they ruin my productivity. I work in the late afternoon/evenings and I think it helps me get through with my sanity still in tact… mostly ;). But anyways, I say never feel guilty about napping!

    That jam looks delicious. I’ve been in the market for a jam and I can’t seem to find any that aren’t either loaded with sugar or filled with fake sugar and a bunch of mystery ingredients. I’ll have to see if I can find this one.

    BLack raspberry or strawberry are my favs. I thought I would love blueberry but it just didn’t hit the spot like strawberry or black raspberry!

    Enjoy the sleep while you can and rest lots. Good luck with the docs appt. Not a fan of jam, never really eat it unless it’s homemade.

    Aw, get some rest girl, you need it! Is it odd that I never use jelly or jam? If I have a peanut butter sandwich I eat it plain. I’m not sure if I commented on your last post, but if not, I vote pink dress! The color looks gorgeous with your tan [which I am very jealous of by the way! ;)]

    PB&J sounds like a great alternative to Chinese take-out! I hate how greasy that stuff always is. My parents make Chinese food all the time, and it isn’t too greasy at all. Thus, I hardly ever elect to eat that kind of stuff. Plus, with jam like that, who needs take-out?

    I hear prego women should get as much sleep as possible, so try not feel weird about napping (though I totally do too). And I’m all about the blackberry jam, I also add it to my coconut flour pancakes. Sooo good.

    YES, sleep while you can. Its crazy but you will learn to run on very little sleep once that little sweet baby arrives! I totally agree, if you could morph the two dresses….perfection. 🙂 Have you decided on one yet??
    I havent tried that jam but whaaaaaat! I need to asap! looks so good. I havent found a jam that I love yet. I ususally get raspberry or strawberry though. But they all taste like overcooked fruit to me. I want one that tastes like freezer jam. Like fresh fruit.
    Ok, so you inspired me to get the carrot ginger soup you get. Sitting in my pantry waiting for me to eat. 🙂

      I need to make freezer jam. It is tough finding one that doesn’t take all sugary! This wasn’t freezer jam, but def tasted better than most out there!

      Hah, I saw your comment earlier and remembered I had that soup in my fridge..heated it up real quick before my doc appt! SO good!

      Oh, and leaning towards pink to stick with the whole “its a girl” theme like you said.

    Girl, don’t feel guilty about napping!! Your body is feeding a baby!! It needs the rest! 🙂 ANd also, definitely get in ALL of the sleep now. 🙂

    You got to take care and rest when you can. As you know, your life is going to get much crazier soon! You’re resting so that your body can do what it needs to…so don’t ever feel bad about that. 🙂
