Holiday Roundup Part 1

Hello, my friends!

Long time no speak! I miss you guys!

Just wanted to give another quick update and let you all know I will not be blogging too much between now and the holiday. I need to take a “personal” leave. Our little family has a lot going on. Everything is fine…I just can’t commit to getting regular posts out over the next 2 weeks.

I do have a couple of recipes to share so hopefully I can get them out before the new year. I also want to give you some new booty busting workouts!

I’ve been doing lots of power yoga, strength training workouts…and…something I hate…RUNNING! Eek! Nothing special at all. Pretty much just sprint intervals for a couple of miles. If I have the right music it’s kind of fun! Nothing is hurting either…I am just a little extra tight in my hips and calves so I’m trying to foam roll it out.

I’ve organized a lot of the workouts I’ve been posting on my “Work It Out” page for you guys. I also need to post a OPBB update before I gain my weight back in cookies ๐Ÿ˜‰ Ever since Ella started solids it’s been falling off. I was very discouraged in the beginning when nothing seemed to be moving and I just wanted to say all you moms were right! BF does make you hold onto it a little, for a good reason! I’m only 6 1/2 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight now and am happy staying here…my goals at this point is more muscle/tone and personal fitness bests! OPBB post coming sometime after the holidays.

Double Chocolate Walnut Biscotti [technically a cookie but they are my family’s favorite!]

ย I am going to attempt to make a new vegan cheesecake….hopefully it turns out and I have something delicious to share!!!

    I hear you with needing some time. Things are crazy busy this time of year! Thanks for the workouts…I haven’t been to the gym in a few weeks- just squeezing in whatever I can at home! Enjoy the holidays!

    Have a great christmas/holiday season:):):):) And have fun with the family, i’ll be here in florida for christmas so i’m definitely missing the north and the cold and all the holiday cheer!!! 70 degree weather and palm trees is kinda a buzz kill:(:(:(:(

    i am so proud of you! your progress is amazing and you look incredible! you totally prove that having a child doesn’t mean you have to “look” like a soccer mom lol. yes that workout was really rough! it took me like 2 days to recover!! mmm the choco-walnut biscotti looks so tasty! i’m making raw cranberry-pom relish (it’s super spicy and christmas-y). prob also will make roasted rosemary potatoes & maybe some raw vegan truffles ๐Ÿ™‚ hmmm what about something with white northern beans & toasted pine nuts for your protein?

      Thanks, Melissa! Yes I am really starting to feel good. things are looser and I am fitting in my jeans! Woot! Nice to see the hard work paying off!

      I remember that relish from last year I think….it looked so good!

    mmmmm everything looks so tasty! I just made a gift basket filled with baked goods and a sinful little treat. It’s so fun baking for others ๐Ÿ™‚ I must say, one of the best compliments I can get is someone telling me how much they love my food!!

    Hi Laury. You don’t look gaining weight. I think you would be working out for maintaining your fabulous body. Its tough to get in shape but its tougher to maintain the gained shape.
