I am been running all over the world today and baking/cooking up a storm!
I worked early in the morning then it was GO GO GO<— [just most ppl in the US, at least in my area, according to the lines I saw at the store and traffic on the road]. I forgot like 1o things and went to 4 different stores all to realize I forgot one KEY ingredient for my cheesecakes. Luckily my sister was sweet enough to run over to Whole Foods while she was out and pick it up for me.
I wanted to just swing by and give a quick update and wish all my friends in the US a very Happy Thanksgiving [<—since my google reader is, well, I am scared to check it]! Thirsty Thursday will be coming a few hours early so I can share a great, quick healthy smoothie to start out your holiday with! I can’t wait to blend this up after my hot power yoga class in the morning! It was so delicious!!!
Green Blueberry Detox Smoothie

-1/2 cup of frozen blueberries
-1/2 ripe avocado, peeled and scraped out
-1 frozen banana
-1 large handful of spinach
-6 ounces of water
-4 ounces of unsweetened almond milk [plus more depending on how thinned out you want it]
-1 scoop protein powder
-1 Tablespoon hemp seeds
-1 Tablespoon ground flax seeds
Place all ingredients in a high powered blender, serve and enjoy! This smoothie is very thick and satisfying!
