Happy April Fools Day. I was going to play a trick on you all but decided against it. P brain can’t think of anything more clever than saying my water broke 😉 Didn’t want to jinx myself though, hehe. Last year I had a good one on the blog. It fooled a lot of people. I actually felt bad :/ Comments got lost when I switched over to wordpress but I assure you….people got punked 😉

This is one of the best poses for pregnant women. Yes, Nicole, I have been doing my homework and working on this pose at home 😉
This pose isn’t just beneficial for pregnant women. Everyone can get something out of it. Practicing this daily helps to elongate your spine, strengthens your core, open your hips, stretches your leg muscles and feet, stimulates your metabolism and helps you find balance. Best of all, the squat pose offsets the adverse effects — tighter hamstrings and hip-flexor muscles, less flexibility in the spine – of sitting for long periods of time.
Currently Munching On….
I really try to avoid dairy as much as possible. However, I really missed yogurt and think it’s a great healthy snack. It’s tough to find a non-dairy yogurt that is low in sugar and not too processed. I found that this fit the bill for my standards. This brand is really low in sugar (only 8 grams per serving), and the ingredient list was satisfying.
I added a tablespoon of chia seeds and some organic blueberries and it made for a great mid-day snack 🙂 I found that when I try to eat veganish, I eat very high carbohydrate, which isn’t necessarily bad (if you are eating the RIGHT kind of carbs). However, my body thrives when I have a little more protein. I also feel more satisfied when I have a protein (that isn’t also high in carbs) with each meal. I will have to explain this further in a later post. In the meantime, you can read my post on digestion and the absorption of carbs.
Thank You Cards
I am one to procrastinate on things. However, one thing I will NOT procrastinate on are thank you cards. I try and get them out as soon as possible after an event, while it’s fresh in my mind. If I were to wait any longer Ella may be here and I may no have the time.My shower was last Sunday. Hoping to get these all finished by the weekend so I can send them out next week!
How soon after you receive a gift or have an event do you send out a thank you?

Hope you don’t mind me Friday Five format today! Coming up with these each week is getting tougher as my P brain gets mushier. I haven’t been able to spend as much time on the computer lately as I said before. This weekend I plan to catch up on some blogs between writing thank you’s 😉
Baby Update: My 36 week photo is up!
Also, had me first internal exam yesterday. Ella is head down and she has dropped! She’s LOW! No dilating yet but I started to soften. Could be any time now. I think we have a few more weeks but the doc told me to rest as much as possible. That is hard for me to do these days, I have these bursts of energy randomly and think I am in nesting mode.It feels like I have so much to do still even though the room is pretty much set up. I have been doing laundry like crazy and keep finding more blankets and other things that I need to wash for Ella. Still training clients between all this and trying to keep up with my workout schedule as well. Mid-afternoon I usually crash and get tired though. Eeeekk!!!! So soon!! I think Michael is freaking out about the any day part. he likes to be fully prepared for things and this is something you are NEVER prepared for and could happen at any moment. Again, still think I have some time but the weeks are going by really fast!!!
