Favorite Wellness, Kitchen, & Beauty Products Round-Up

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving!

Currently eating pumpkin truffles for breakfast, post yoga, scoping out some Black Friday sales before we head to the movies to see Coco.

We went to my brother and sister-in-law’s house, and it was one of the nicest Thanksgivings I’ve had in a long time.

Since today is Black Friday,  and a lot of people are now in shopping mode for the holidays, I thought I would do a round-up of all the products I’ve been talking about since I relaunched my blog.

Today and this coming Monday while you shop, try adding some of these to your cart to look for deals!

Instant Pot— this is a must-have! I share a lot of recipes here and on Instagram. Trust me, it will change your life.

Cast Iron Skillet–It may seem intimidating to use, but it is all I will cook with on my stove top anymore. It makes your food more nutritious, and it makes it taste better!

A Good Chef Knife— How awful is it when you have a hard time cutting up your food. It is a game-changer when you have a really good sharp knife!

Vitamix–I have had my Vitamix for 8 years and it was my best purchase next to my Instant Pot. Seriously NOTHING blends like this baby. The customer service is also incredible (hello, 7-year warranty), and I found one for you refurbished under $300!

Cuisinart Mini Prep Food Processer— This is another kitchen tool I can’t do without. This is great for making crusts, or chopping up small jobs. Someone gave this exact one to me as a gift for my wedding shower (10 years ago) and I still use it often!

Spiralizer: Create healthy veggie pasta dishes with a spiralizer. This is super affordable, and the one I have has lasted me 7 years!

Art Naturals Serum Trio-This is my new favorite beauty product EVER! This trip of serums is only $25!

  • Set includes 1-oz. sizes of Art Naturals’ Vitamin C Serum, Retinol Serum and Hyaluronic Acid Serum.
  • Vitamin C Serum absorbs fast and fights fine lines, wrinkles, and sun damage.
  • Retinol Serum’s antioxidant, collagen-booting power is night-time’s fighter against bags, spots and crow’s feet.
  • Hyaluronic Acid Serum hydrates and plumps skin; renewing glow and brightness.
  • All ingredients meet Art Naturals’ 100 percent natural standards. Paraben free and cruelty free!

Rose Water Spray— I love this one by Teak Naturals, it is 100% pure rose water, NOTHING else added. I use this to set my makeup, to wet my beauty blender, and to just keep my skin hydrated and refreshed. It’s only $11!

Ice Roller–Remember Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead? I will never forget the line “every girl over 27 needs a cucumber in your fridge.” My line is “every girl over 30 needs an ice roller in her freezer.” This is only $10.00 and it helps reduce swelling, minimize pores, and makes your makeup go on beautifully! ALL of my friends have been buying them and loving them.

Tinkle Razors–Did you see my post about how I shave my face? This was one of the best discoveries for my skin. It makes it glow, it exfoliates, and it helps keep your skin dewy and youthful. It’s a long-time beauty secret by celebrities that is now out. There is a while method to it, and you want to use the tinkle razors I linked (they are like $4), so go check it out!

Collagen Eye Masks–I use these eye masks a few times per week. They are much more convenient than putting cucumbers on your eyes, because if you are a multi-tasker, like me, you can wear them while you work. I’ve tried a bunch of different brands, and these by Grace and Stella are my favorite.

Aztec Healing Clay–This is one of my favorite beauty mask starters. It will last you years because you get so much (for only $8!), and I have made charcoal masks and clay mask with it. My only tip is to not mix with apple cider vinegar. It made my face super red and irritated. I use distilled water or aloe water!

Charcoal Toothpaste–great for whitening teeth without the mess!

Eyelash Growth Serum–This eyelash serum is only $5.99 and it is all-natural! Made of castor oil! The difference is, it comes with all the proper brushes to apply. I am loving it and put it on consistently every night for thicker, longer lashes.

Charcoal Face Bar–this is EVERYTHING! I actually like it better than oil cleansing. For a while I was getting breakouts, and this cleared them up instantly. Also, my face comes out so clean with very little work.

Wellness Favorites:

Magnesium Oil Spray–Applying this supplement daily can help you food cravings, headaches, and sleep. During both pregnancies I would wake up with excruciating leg cramps, and this magnesium spray was a LIFE SAVER for me.

Magnesium is a mighty mineral you may not hear much about, but did you know that 80% of Americans are deficient in it? This deficiency may be causing significant health consequences. That’s because magnesium serves so many functions in your body! Some of those functions include the transmission of nerve impulses, body temperature regulation, detoxification, energy production, and the formation of healthy bones and teeth. It’s one of the most important minerals for our entire body, crucial for more than 300 enzyme reactions.

People, women especially, are so focused on getting enough calcium in their diets once they hit a certain age not realizing that magnesium may be just as, if not MORE important. In fact, we need a ratio of 1:1 of magnesium to calcium, yet American’s generally have a higher calcium to magnesium ratio of 3.5:1.

Dry Brush–I bought my first dry brush over 9 years ago, and will be honest, it is not something I always remember to do but it is SO good when I am in a routine with it. I blogged about it here before, but will reiterate the benefits!

The skin is the largest organ in your body. The average adult eliminates over one pound of waste acids daily, most of it through the sweat glands.

Every day we are exposed to environmental toxins, as well as toxins and chemicals in the products we use. It’s important that we become more mindful of what we put on our skin, as well as how we take care of it.

Dry brushing stimulates your lymph system, giving your body a little aid in the natural detoxification process, and it also helps break down fatty deposits within your body.

It also makes your skin super soft!

Choose a dry brush with firm bristles, they sell many body brushes at Whole Foods or on Amazon. I got mine about 8 years ago and think it may be time to replace it!

How to here!

Cork Yoga Blocks–I can’t get on my mat without these by it anymore! They have definitely changed my practice to feel more sturdy and balanced in poses. I also feel like I can deeper and more engaged using my cork blocks

The Five Minute Journal—Using the science of positive psychology to improve happiness, The Five Minute Journal focuses your attention on the good in your life. Improve your mental well-being and feel better every day.

Essential Oil Diffuser–The only place I would purchase EOs from is DIRECTLY from Young Living (not YL on Amazon, they are fake or diluted). However, I have purchased some great diffusers on Amazon for cheap for the kids rooms and our den that I actually really like, the one I linked has been perfect. I am actually giving them away for a Black Friday gift in my Healthy + Natural home group on Facebook. If you want the details, join here!

If you are shopping this weekend, have fun!
