Hey, Everyone 🙂
It has been a rough week, but we got through it. Now, it’s time to relax and spend time with family and friends to ring in the new year! Thanks again for all your comforting words throughout the week. I hope everyone stays safe…make sure you have a sip of champagne for me 😉
My blog has evolved a lot over the year. First off I made the big switch from The Fitness Riot to here at The Fitness Dish!
I decided to give up eating meat again for the second time in my life, and started eating mostly a plant based diet, *shortly after this post chicken and all other animals started to make me cringe, I wasn’t able to stomach it, so I gave up most animal protein (aside from fish and eggs occasionally).
I saw the advanced screening of Forks Over Knives that talks a lot about the benefits of a plant based diets, and the physicians that are treating based on them (coming out this March!):
…and I answered a few notorious questions about protein intake on a plant based diet:
**Remember though….it’s all about balance…and different diets work for different people. I never said I was perfect.**
