Best of The Friday 5

Happy Friday, everyone!!!

Thanks SO much for all your kind words about the ultrasound and doctors appointment. This has truly been such an amazing experience, and it feels SO much more real seeing the baby actually look like a BABY! Nuts!!!

It’s SO interesting how so many of you agree that you feel more comfortable sharing things with your blogger friends, than you do with your facebook friends! I am MUCH more open on here than I would EVER be on facebook. At first I have kept my blog completely separate from my fb, but now I have let it be known that I have a page. I only share my posts on my Blog Facebook page, though, which makes me feel like I have more of a captive audience 🙂 By the way, sorry for the lack of posting yesterday, I DID post on my fb page (if you “like it you saw 😉  ) that I was taking the day off due to excess holiday shenanigans.

Last night Michael and I shopped til we dropped, got A LOT done…still a little more to go. I have a lot of baking to do, and a lot of cleaning/ organizing to do around the house. The night before Christmas Eve we always have Michaels family over to exchange gifts and have dinner. It’s been a tradition since we lived here! I am still planning the menu, but will let you all know when I figure out what the eats are 🙂

As the end of the year approaches I thought I would go back into my past Friday 5’s and share some of my favorites! There were so many to choose from, so this was a tougher task then I originally thought. I will most likely NOT be posting one next Friday, since it is Christmas Eve and I will be a busy little worker elf next week. You will get a few posts out of me, but not my normal schedule unfortunately.

Without further ado, here’s my “best of” Friday 5 for 2010!

I forgot to comment on it, but I also agree that I feel strangely more comfortable sharing stuff on my blog than I do on facebook. For me, Twitter and my blog are one thing, and facebook is sort of separate.
This weekend I’m getting together with some girlfriends for a holiday potluck brunch, and hopefully relaxing too!

All my shopping is done for the holidays but I still have two homemade gifts to prepare! I am leaving to go see my father just after my last exam so I have to fit baking in studying! Now I see the point of studying in advance :P.

This is really a great post! I spend my weekends at home. Clean up all the surroundings, wash clothes and all of the sudden take some rest and at the end of the day, spending time with my family, baking activities or outdoor activities.
